Wednesday

why?

I am, by nature, a pessimist, a glass-half-empty-kinda-gal. I am quick to find fault in myself and others. I am a world-class worrier and complainer. I am often disappointed and I have no problem seeing the worst case scenario.

Dump that all into a life that is riddled with the *joys* of a new baby, and this mama is tired and often crabby. I need that to change. I need to force myself into a habit of searching out the good, the happy and the smiles in my world.

This little space is a place where I hope to force myself into noticing, documenting and sharing things that are worth being grateful for. I can't promise that even in the gratitude a little whining might not shine through. Old habits die hard, you know.

So, come along with me as I hope to make this life a little bit happier.
